1200 x 800 x 12mm Hardiebacker 500 fibre cement tile backer board is suitable for use on walls and floors when installing ceramic or stone tiles. It offers excellent protection against moisture damage and mould growth, making it the ideal choice for wet areas including kitchens, bathrooms and steam rooms.

Application:
HardieBacker Cement Backerboard should be used anywhere in your home where tile is applied; on floors, walls and even countertops. It should be used especially in wet areas like bathrooms, for a shower wall or a bathroom floor, where they are exposed to extreme moisture. It is recommended to use a 6mm HardieBacker Cement Backerboard for the floor and a 12mm HardieBacker Cement Backerboard for the wall.

Returns and Refunds Policy

In the unlikely event that a delivered product is faulty or damaged, we will exchange it or provide you with a full refund, as long as we are notified of the product’s fault within 48 hours of it being delivered to you.


Champion Timber shall not accept on return for credit any goods ordered from Champion Timber incorrectly or subsequently found to be surplus to the customer’s requirements. The suitability of specialist goods is assumed to have been assessed by the customer or his/her advisor(s) prior to purchase. Champion Timber shall endeavour to assist customers where possible by accepting at a reasonable restocking charge the return of goods (together with the original packing if applicable) which are from Champion Timber normal stock lines but goods ordered from the manufacturer cannot be accepted without Champion Timber prior agreement for the return and Champion Timber restocking charges having been paid. In any event, credit cannot be given unless the customer provides Champion Timber with the number of the invoice on which the goods were supplied.
