Objectives

AW Champion believe in the human rights of each individual and that no form of modern slavery is acceptable. Therefore we operate a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in our supply chains.

We endorse the legislation as a crucially important development in tackling slavery and human trafficking and we will not knowingly trade or partner with any business or organisation which is involved in this practice however remotely or indirectly.

AW Champion

With 10 branches across the South East, we are the region's leading independent timber specialist with over 90 years of experience in supplying the trade. We will always treat people in our business fairly to help eradicate any form of modern slavery.

To facilitate the needs of our customers we source our own timber from Northern Scandinavia, machine it ourselves and sell it directly to our customers. We will continue to ensure there is transparency in our business and in our approach to modern-day slavery by adhering to our values and we expect our suppliers to set the same high standards.
